A new visual identity for Project 2800
Project 2800 brings together entrepreneurs and initiatives in the Mechelen region. To communicate that story in a recognisable way, the platform needed a visual identity that could work across a wide range of media. We designed a logo, selected a colour palette and built a brand identity around them.
We extended that foundation to business cards, roll-up banners and a website, among other applications. This gave both day-to-day communication and visibility at events the same recognisable look.
These different formats place different demands on a design. A logo must be instantly recognisable on a business card, while also holding its own on a larger banner. By developing the applications alongside the brand identity, the visual foundation was immediately translated into practice.
The brief therefore went beyond a single new logo. Project 2800 gained a coherent visual foundation that allows the platform to present its plans and activities clearly.
About Project 2800
Project 2800 is an independent, non-profit platform for entrepreneurs in the Mechelen region. It brings together ideas and initiatives aimed at strengthening the local business climate and raising the region’s profile beyond Mechelen.
A case tells the story behind a project: what the brief was, how we approached it and how the different elements came together. Our portfolio offers a broader overview of the work we have created, including projects beyond this selection.
