An internal accreditation campaign for Imeldaziekenhuis
NIAZ accreditation was a shared objective for Imeldaziekenhuis. To involve staff across a wide range of roles, the hospital developed an internal awareness campaign. Crossmark helped shape that campaign.
At its heart was the Neusje, a character inspired by the cuberdon and by the idea of getting everyone pointing in the same direction. It gave an abstract quality objective a recognisable face without losing sight of the campaign’s message.
We developed more than forty versions of the Neusje, each with its own role or message. There were versions for doctors, nurses and administrative staff, among others. This allowed the campaign to address different teams within the same visual style.
The illustrations and messages appeared on a tear-off calendar, in a brochure and on posters. The hospital later achieved NIAZ accreditation. Our contribution focused on communication throughout that process: materials that staff would encounter every day.
About Imeldaziekenhuis
Imeldaziekenhuis is based in Bonheiden. The organisation employs people in many different roles and working environments. A hospital-wide campaign therefore requires messages that every team can recognise and relate to.
A case tells the story behind a project: what the brief was, how we approached it and how the different elements came together. Our portfolio offers a broader overview of the work we have created, including projects beyond this selection.
